The long awaited Micromax Canvas 4 is here, and it doesn't disappoint on many fronts. It retains a lot of consistent Micromax features like dual sim operations, a big 5" IPS LCD display and a button less screen. The 13 MP back camera and the 5 MP front camera work like a charm while taking pictures and shooting videos.
The Micromax Canvas 4 scores on the camera front when compared to it's predecessors. Internal memory is upgraded to 16GB and is expandable up to 64GB through a microSD card. Under the hood, Canvas 4 has MT6589 chipset by Mediatek , Quad-core CPU 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 and PowerVR GPU . The 2000 mAH Lithium-Ion battery is the same one shared with it's predecessor Canvas HD. Micromax has immensely improved it's build quality, coming a long way from the plasticky Canvas HD to the brushed aluminium body of the Canvas 4.
A few software goodies by Micromax like the blow/shake to unlock, pause on look away, improved video player etc. for the Canvas 4 are an icing on the cake. Gaming experience on the Canvas 4 is smooth as silk due to its 1 GB RAM and PowerVR GPU . The Canvas4 offers many features of the big players at half of their product costs. At Rs. 18,000, it packs in a lot of punch for a mid-range smart device but it's biggest competition is going lobe its predecessor Canvas HD.
